“From the fruit of their lips people are filled with good things, and the work of their hands brings them reward.”
Few weeks back we attended “partners in harvest” pastors conference at Toronto. During that conference we were prayed over and these words (among others) were prophesied over us. We knew at that point that this word was significant. Couple weeks later (pre service prayer) one of our intercessors saw a vision of large ship, causing others to burst out in joy. Reason being, others in the room knew about this word, she didn’t.. Its comforting to know that when God speaks, he often confirms it through others. To me these ships represents the promises of God towards us
As you know ships carry a cargo, so the symbolic meaning of these words are resources: people, finances, wisdom etc.. I take it as a Ship is a symbol of a promise, Gods promises are eternal
Take it 4 weeks later..Elina and I are in prayer and this scipture hits me from James 4:4-5 ” Look at the ships also: though they are so large and are driven by strong winds, they are guided by a very small rudder wherever the will of the pilot directs. 5 So also the tongue is a small member…
We teach a lot about “shifting atmospheres”, how your words release hope, joy etc. But lets take this a bit further..AS ships rudder guides the whole ship same is also true with promises of God. Your spoken words are the “rudder” that will direct your life. “From the fruit of their lips people are filled with good things,” Pr 12:14.
In another words you will “eat what you speak”.
Now we have this amazing opportunity to guide the promises of God in ! How? by co-labouring with Christ by decreeing what He has already said in His word or promises through confirmed prophetic words (*). I challenge you to take time to ponder his promises, his confirmed prophetic words. Maybe even write them down. And then, start a daily habit of SPEAKING THEM OUT as if they already were. Sometimes we think we are waiting on God, when God is actually waiting on us. Waiting on us to use what he has already said.
“Timothy, my child, I entrust you with this command in keeping with the previous prophecies about you, so that by them you may fight the good fight“, 1 Tim 1:18
(*) Confirmed Prophetic words always line up with scriptures and His Spirit in you confirms that, yes even if this is something that is so big or so unthinkable, yet His Spirit in me says its true (inner witness)
